This work is a group of photographs that expresses the image of a phoenix guiding the light born from the ash as life in this world burns and eventually turns into ashes.
A Japanese fireworks maker once said, "I wish all the gunpowder in the world could be turned into fireworks."
People look up to the sky as they watch the fireworks being launched into the night sky. Children and adults alike all have smiles on their faces.
Perhaps I am capturing the feelings of such people.
